Type Tees was an iOS app that let users type out a message, choose a design template and buy a shirt, all from within the app. I designed everything. From the app to the email receipts to the marketing website. I helped design and build out a new Order Management System. I also personally managed the app. I wrote the product roadmap and managed its delivery. I helped customers with their orders, processed returns, etc. It was a great experience.

Designing an e-commerce app for a company as unique as Threadless was an interesting challenge. It needed both shopping and scoring ability to be seamless interwoven into the experience. Our community loved the personality and experience of Threadless on iOS

Partnering with Adobe and Apple, Threadless created the first iPad app that let’s you design a t-shirt on an iPad and print it right onto a t-shirt. Debuting at Adobe Max, the app utilizing the new Creative SDK was a hit of the show.
